SC&RA Sends Letter of Support for Rolling Stock

- Last week, SC&RA sent a letter of support for Massachusetts House Bill 2841/Senate Bill 1178/Senate Bill 1949, Acts Relative to Rolling Stock. The letter was sent specifically to Senate Chair Susan Moore and House Chair Mark Cusack on behalf of SC&RA members and the 25 members headquartered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. SC&RA urged support for the rolling stock initiative which will help bring safer, cleaner commercial vehicles to the Commonwealth while also supporting the growth of the specialized transportation, crane, and rigging industries in the state. These Bills will bring Massachusetts in line not only with the entire New England region, but all 37 states that have no sales or use tax on rolling stock.
